Dr. Lonnie Peets has been serving the Rio Rancho and Albuquerque communities for over four decades, establishing NM Stem Cell as a leading regenerative medicine clinic in New Mexico. A 1989 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College, she holds a Fellowship in Neurology (DACNB), a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, and a degree in Chemistry. Her dedication to patient care and innovative treatments has helped thousands of patients find relief from chronic pain and achieve their health goals.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Peets is passionate about staying active and enjoying the New Mexico outdoors. From horseback riding and motorcycle adventures to traveling and exploring new places, she lives the same active lifestyle that her patients are working to get back to. This shared understanding of what it means to move freely and live fully drives her commitment to helping every patient achieve their best quality of life.

With over 20 years of nursing experience, Heather brings extensive medical expertise to NM Stem Cell. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and 50% co-owner of the practice, she plays a vital role in patient care, conducting evaluations and assisting with regenerative medicine treatments. Her compassionate approach and clinical knowledge ensure every patient receives thorough, personalized care.
When she's not caring for patients, Heather enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time outdoors, and traveling. She believes that wellness is a lifestyle, not just a treatment -- and her personal dedication to fitness and well-being inspires the care she provides every day.
